Clarita Herrera, MA LPC

Our journey towards healing and freedom is definitely not always a smooth and easy path. I consider it such an honor to take part in and witness the healing and transformation that happens in the lives of clients as we work together in session. I use an eclectic approach to counseling, pulling various techniques from different evidenced based approaches to fit to each client’s needs.

Culture can play a huge role in our mental health journey as it can influence the beliefs and values we hold. I look forward to working with people who would like to receive counseling services in English or Spanish. I also look forward to meeting people on their faith journey as desired by them.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been working in the administrative area of Living Hope, and now as an LPC, I will also have the joy of working one on one with clients during our counseling sessions. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have also been certified as a facilitator of the Prepare/Enrich Assessment for premarital and married couples.

In my free time, I enjoy watching a good series or movie, learning new songs on the piano, going on walks, taking pictures of nature, and hanging out with family and friends.
