Beth Shaw, MA LPC
I graduated cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish. I also graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University in 2021. I have also been certified as a facilitator of the Prepare/Enrich Assessment for premarital and married couples. I am married with two adult children.
Historically I have a passion for helping others as demonstrated by my extensive involvement in various community service organizations. I was a member of the Caring Touch Committee at my church and served on the Board of Directors for Most Valuable Kids for more than 10 years.
My counseling goal is to develop a collaborative, compassionate, and authentic therapeutic relationship with clients. I hope to encourage clients to find gratitude, joy, and hope in their lives through integration of their faith perspective.
During my free time, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, spending quiet time reading, and doing Pilates.
